Please join us for the 2nd Annual International Children’s Health Services Research Symposium in Indianapolis, Indiana on March 10-12, 2014! This symposium brings together pediatric health services researchers and fellows from across the country and the world for a series of talks by luminaries in the field, as well as new talent, in a forum that emphasizes lots of time for conversation and networking. This year’s topic is Comparative Effectiveness Research.

About the Conference
The keynote speaker will be Richard Wasserman, MD, MPH (Vermont Children’s Hospital). Other speakers include Gary Freed, MD, MPH (University of Michigan & University of Melbourne), Beth Tarini, MD, MS (University of Michigan), Earnestine Willis, MD, MPH (Medical College of Wisconsin), Maria Britto, MD, MPH (Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center), and Nancy Swigonski, MD, MPH (Indiana University).

The CHSR symposium will take place over an two and a half day period and will include poster presentations, breakout sessions to assist with career development, and a debate. It will be held at the Health Information and Translational Sciences Building at Indiana University School of Medicine, located on the downtown Indianapolis canal.

Keynote Speaker
Dr. Wasserman is Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Vermont (UVM) College of Medicine and Director of Pediatric Research in Office Settings (PROS), the national practice-based research network of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). His presentation is titled, "Pediatric Primary Care Research: Past, Present, & Future."
